MHR USA is the exclusive U.S. distributor of performance products featuring Airsal cylinders, Tecnigas exhausts, Arreche carburetors, Tecnomoto variators, and KRD / Kundo Performance Parts. In addition to being a parts distributor, we are also a retail dealer for many scooter brands and have extensive knowledge of our products.
Moped Hospital was founded in 1979 primarily selling and renting Puch Maxi, Derbi DS-50 and Tomos A-35 mopeds. As today's more modern scooters started entering the US market, we expanded into the Performance Parts area with parts that were available from our European suppliers.
Knowledge -- of our products and the industry -- has been earned through "real-world" mechanical experience - both with our rental fleet/customer service and on the race track. This "reality experience" is what sets us apart from many if not all of our competitors.
We know what works and meets our customer's standards! We stay focused on quality and reliability as opposed to a cheaper product and profit motivations. We pride ourselves on customer service and are probably the only online company to offer FREE phone technical support to our customers. Our service and commitment doesn't end with a credit card receipt!
Current focus is on the 50cc and 90cc two stroke models. As the larger displacement 4 stroke parts become available, we will also be offering those. This year, 2007, we expect the new Airsal 50mm (82cc) cylinder kit for the Kymco Agility, People & Vitality 4-stroke models. This same engine is used on many other brands -- same as today's common practice using identical engines in a variety of 2-stroke models. It is important to note that with the 2 strokes, even though many share a common engine, the fittings and couplings are not necessarily the same. For this reason, we don't offer on-line ordering. MHR wants to make sure that you, our customer, receive the correct parts for your individual applications. This saves your time, frustration and money. Remember, our Technical Support lines are TOLL FREE and so is our expert advice!
All of our shipping is by UPS and our customer is charged only by package weight and at our cost. There are no hidden charges or other "handling fees."
